made it in the avengers movie art book!

i've seen the movie a couple of times now.  and boy i gotta say it's pretty damn cool!  i got the artbook a couple of weeks ago.  i was fortunate enough to be included in the book for some of the concept work i did.  loved working with all the talented artists both at ilm and marvel studios! among them in the ilm art dept: thang le, alex jaeger, aaron mcbride, dave yee, christian alzmann, and yanick dusseault. in addition it was awesome and inspiring taking the lead from the immensely talented marvel folks: ryan meinerding, charlie wen, andy park, steve jung, phil saunders, and many many more!

coming to calgary!

this is it! i've been going from the very start of the show! the fans here in the city high up north are some of the most dedicated and hardcore! this year will have so much cool stuff in store. for the first time since their last film, the entire cast of star trek the next generation will reunite. among other cool stars, as well as other uber talented artists, i will be showing again at booth 825! right across from artist alley! love ya much, and i'll see y'all very soon!

this will be my first convention in chicago! always traveled to this amazing city when i was younger, so this will be truly cool to head back and show my art! april 13-15! i'll be firmly planted in the artist alley, booth H15. hope to see ya there!

can't wait for the 2012 con season to start! always great to kick it off with such an amazing show and city! emerald city comic con in seattle. also remember that the monsters and dames piece that i did will also be up for auction! see y'all there!!! march 30-31 & april 1.

rango wins!!!

ok, very very late... but wanted to acknowledge that as most of ya know, i had a great opportunity to work on a remarkable movie in rango! it was awesome working with such talented people. and it was cool to see some recognition in winning an oscar! truth be told, we always felt it was something special.
